Job Description

The Planner will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules for high-end interior fit-out works. The role requires ensuring that all planning activities support project delivery within time and cost constraints while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance in the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed project schedules for interior fit-out works using Primavera P6/MS Project. Coordinate with project managers, design teams, procurement, and site teams to gather inputs for project planning. Track project progress, update schedules, and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports. Identify and flag potential delays and propose recovery plans. Monitor and report resource allocation, productivity, and material delivery schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to align activities with the master program. Prepare and submit baseline programs, look-ahead schedules, and extension of time (EOT) claims. Support in project risk assessments and mitigation planning. Maintain proper records of planning-related documentation for contractual use.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of relevant planning experience in interior fit-out projects within the UAE. Proven experience in using

Primavera P6

, MS Project, and MS Excel. Sound knowledge of fit-out project workflows, joinery, MEP coordination, authority approvals (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, etc.). Strong understanding of commercial and residential fit-out timelines and sequencing. Familiar with UAE labor laws, HSE regulations, and local construction practices. Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent). Experience with design & build projects is a plus. UAE Driving License.
