Job Summary:

The Fitout Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities for interior fitouts, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and materials efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, coordinate, and lead a team of skilled workers and subcontractors in fitout works, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, MEP finishes, and other interior installations. Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to ensure works are executed according to design specifications. Plan daily and weekly tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. Ensure all works comply with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Inspect work completed by the team and subcontractors to ensure it meets the required standards. Coordinate with Project Manager, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues promptly. Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, material usage, and manpower logs. Identify potential risks, propose solutions, and implement preventive measures. Assist in procurement of materials and tools required for fitout works. Train and mentor junior staff and promote best practices on-site.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a Foreman in fitout, interior finishing, or construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in basic project management and site reporting tools. Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
