Firefighting Foreman - Fit-Out
to lead and supervise firefighting installation teams on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of works.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the installation of firefighting systems including sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, and suppression systems.
Lead and manage firefighting technicians and laborers on-site to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
Coordinate daily work schedules, material requirements, and manpower allocation with project managers and site engineers.
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
Inspect completed works to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
Report progress, site challenges, and manpower needs to site engineers or project managers.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and use of firefighting materials and tools.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving installation issues during commissioning phases.
Requirements
Technical diploma or certification in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Firefighting Foreman in fit-out or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of firefighting systems installation and safety practices.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
Familiarity with UAE Civil Defense regulations and NFPA standards.
Good understanding of reading firefighting system drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with integrated MEP coordination and commissioning.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks on-site.
