Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified
Finishing Inspector
with a
consultancy background
and strong experience in
high-rise projects
. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all finishing works on-site to ensure compliance with design intent, project specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and monitor finishing works including painting, tiling, joinery, ceilings, and other interior finishes.
Ensure all materials and workmanship meet project specifications and quality requirements.
Review and comment on contractor's shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and design teams to resolve technical issues.
Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
Monitor progress and ensure works are completed according to schedule and approved standards.
Highlight and follow up on defects, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Support the project team during testing, commissioning, and handover stages.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum
7-10 years of experience
, including at least
5 years with a consultancy firm
.
Proven experience in
high-rise and large-scale finishing projects
.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishing standards.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Familiarity with UAE construction codes and standards.
