Job Description

Job Summary: The Financial Business Analyst (MIS Executive) - Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining financial dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI. The role involves analyzing financial data, generating actionable insights, and ensuring accurate MIS reporting to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in Power BI, and a background in financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: 1. Power BI Development & Reporting:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for financial and operational metrics.
• Create complex DAX queries, data models, and transformations in Power Query.
• Automate financial reports and integrate data from multiple sources (ERP, SQL, Excel, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and real-time updates in dashboards.

2. Financial Analysis & MIS Reporting:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Budget vs. Actuals).
• Analyze financial trends, variances, and KPIs to provide actionable insights.
• Develop MIS reports for senior management, highlighting business performance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.

3. Data Management & Automation:

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI.
• Optimize SQL queries and database structures for efficient reporting.
• Implement data governance and ensure compliance with financial standards.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to understand reporting needs.
• Present insights to leadership in a clear, visually compelling manner.
• Train end-users on Power BI tools and self-service reporting.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes through automation.
• Stay updated with Power BI updates, AI/ML integrations, and BI best practices.
