The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial system operational support across the regional and hub finance teams. The Analyst will perform a critical role in evaluating current models and templates and identifying improvements and efficiencies using their strong technical knowledge. Responsibilities: The role would be responsible for evaluating, designing, maintaining and improving financial models to support the revenue and incentives planning for CEMEA geographies. The key focus is identifying efficiencies, improving the current user experience whilst optimizing the level of detail, accuracy and calculations.
  • Manage ad hoc/monthly/quarterly/yearly analysis to be used by the Regional CFO, sub-regional teams and all supported departments
  • Develop and maintain CEMEA monthly flash report and reporting package, analyze results, and proactively identify and communicate business implications of analysis
  • Coordinate data submissions with Corporate FP&A team to ensure data availability for Global reporting and analytics. Contribute to Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting activities within the scope in line with regional and global requirements.
  • Evaluate existing models and templates and identify areas of opportunity for improvement and efficiencies
  • Maintain revenue templates and models that facilitate planning and forecasting
  • Lead the system integration and support across the regional and hub finance teams, communicate effectively new updates and improvements and managing the training of all users
  • Work with the IT team to deliver and support the regional and hub teams with regards to financial systems, understand requirements and feedback from users and deliver enhancements across current work practices
  • Support the team in analyzing business trends and assessing macroeconomic metrics and contribute to the development of complex models to be used in budgeting and forecasting
  • Show initiative and creativity in the developing of solutions which are innovative, obtain input and feedback from appropriate users and manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance

Teamwork:
  • The role is based on the CEMEA Hub, Dubai office, and reports into the CEMEA Revenue Director based in the same office
  • Actively contribute to the effectiveness of the team by supporting and co-operating with colleagues and providing cover during period of absence
  • The flexibility to liaise with various functions both within Visa and externally to deliver ad-hoc projects
  • This individual is expected to interact effectively with various levels of Visa management and their multi regional staff
  • Strong interpersonal skills will be required to address on-going needs of a complex, matrix reporting structure and multinational organization
  • Multicultural sensitivity and interpersonal relationship management skills are essential including the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field
  • 1 + years of related Finance experience in a multinational organization
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of financial systems (TM1, Hyperion, etc.) is nice to have
  • Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate results with senior level executives
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, able to resolve tough business problems with well-structured analyses
  • Exceptional report modeling and data management skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data and organize in a logical and efficient manner
  • Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and produce and coordinate time sensitive deliverables
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
