Financial Advisory & Technical Accounting (junior to mid-level)

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Posted on 02/25/2025 Our Financial Services client is seeking a National talent to join their Financial Advisory and Technical Accounting team. This role involves delivering project-based financial advisory and technical accounting services, with a focus on IFRS expertise, M&A transactions, and finance transformation initiatives.

Note: This role is open for UAE Nationals only. Responsibilities:

Provide expert IFRS technical guidance and data-driven insights to portfolio teams and senior management.

Integrate accounting considerations into M&A transactions and conduct due diligence.

Deliver projects and review documents within agreed timelines.

Maintain and reinforce internal controls to ensure financial data accuracy and integrity.

Lead special projects related to finance transformation, including AI and automation initiatives.

Prepare high-quality accounting memos and presentations.

Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, portfolio companies, external auditors, and advisors.

Advise senior management on accounting-related matters.

Promote ethical standards and corporate values.

Manage administrative matters within the Financial Advisory and Technical Accounting sub-department.

Resolve escalated issues and escalate complex matters appropriately.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in financial advisory and technical accounting

Strong technical knowledge of IFRS standards.

Experience with M&A transactions and due diligence.

Experience with finance transformation projects, including AI and automation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
