We are currently working with a global technology company to recruit a Finance Manager MEA in Dubai, UAE. As the Finance Manager for the Middle East and Africa region, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. This position requires a highly skilled professional with a solid background in accounting and finance, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll be Doing\xe2\x80\xa6
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the Middle East and Africa region.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment of financial goals.
Month-end Activities:
- Oversee month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Review and analyze financial statements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance and support to the team in executing day-to-day financial operations.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing effective control measures.

- ACCA, ACA, or CMA qualification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Experience working in a global company with exposure to the Middle East and Africa region is highly desirable.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards and local regulations.
