With recent success and growth in out Middle Eastern operations, we are looking for a qualified accountant with experience working in Saudi Arabia to join us as Assistant Finance Manager in our UAE regional head office.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, Middle East and Africa (MEA), the Assistant Finance Manager will take responsibility on all Financial and Controlling matters for BSI's expanding business and prominence in Saudi Arabia, as well as supporting our bureau in Qatar.

The Assistant Finance Manager will take ownership for the Financial Accounting and Reporting, ensuring timely, accurate and comprehensive information can be provided across the Group and key stakeholders. The role will be partnering closely with the regional businesses, with an independent reporting responsibility on all matters relating to the Control environment to the Regional Finance Team.

You will be providing regular and accurate reporting to the Finance Manager, MEA on the business performance against a range of targets, as well as the updates on local legislation including Tax to apply adjustments on systems and processes accordingly. You will also work closely with the Group Tax & Treasury to ensure adequate working capital and repatriation of profits, with preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts, tax submissions and payments.

This position is a hybrid role in our Middle East Head Office in the UAE. As a member of the regional finance team, you will also be providing financial and controlling support for the Qatar bureau when necessary. The role will involve a small amount of regional business travels depending on business requirements.

To thrive in this role, you are: Qualified accountant on ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years post qualified relevant experience. Strong background in Accounting and Financial Management for Saudi Arabian entities. Knowledge of Saudi Arabia and IFRS accounting standards as well as local taxation legislation with experience in preparation of tax returns. An excellent communicator with firm professional ethics, able to relay financial information to stakeholders and gain credibility with different seniorities and disciplines. A solution orientated and goal driven team player with strong organization and prioritizing capabilities, able to delegate tasks to team members where appropriate.
