Partnering

Provide leadership and support to the General manager and the business teams (Marketing, Medical, Commercial, Market access...) by performing financial analysis / business cases... for proper assessment of operational decisions Participate to business review with partners, challenge and contribute to potential negotiations, review contract agreements Participate with Procurement and contribute to the negotiations with suppliers, social partners... to optimize the level of OPEX in the region Provide proper information in terms of KPIs, dashboards & reports to ensure business partners / LT / Global Finance obtain on regular basis the financial datas to understand top line results, manage OPEX and identify risks & opportunities.... Follow the monitoring of shipments monthly in collaboration with supply lead (orders received in time, availability of stock, customs issues, incoterms, transportation...) Follow market shares, demand sales, inventory levels with business excellence team to understand net sales evolution and confirm the accuracy of data in the reporting tool

Controlling, Reporting, Accounting

Own and drive the financial management planning & monthly reporting in accordance with global guidelines and requirements and secure local/global stakeholder engagement and alignment Monitor Net Sales & OPEX Prepare all financial reports including monthly reports and presentations (check-in) with relevant business comments, perform the balance sheet review monthly, ensure all the accruals are well estimated and justified with supporting documentation Organize and coordinate the budget, forecast, long term plan processes (instructions, timelines, work files, reports) and ensure the coordination within the teams Manage day-to-day operations (including bank payments, relationships with distributors, PO follow-up, budget expenses approval...) Ensure the compliance of the accounts and reportings with Group Accounting policies - IFRS -specifically on revenue recognition, ensure the compliance with tax rules and follow tax matters
Manage and Forecast cash collection monthly (follow-up of account receivables, regular calls with distributors / partners, anticipation...), participate to credit limit committees

Internal Control, efficiency

Ensure full alignment with Group Finance & Business Ethics principles, evaluating & implementing appropriate controls Identify, monitor and report business risks and assure proper management and communication at local and global level Organize, coordinate and lead audit process including SAQ (Self-Assessment Questionnaire) and visits / questions from external and internal auditors Continuous improvement bringing new solutions and efficiencies into business operations and business/finance processes

Knowledge, abilities & experience

Education / Certifications

Graduate degree in business administration, finance or economics

Knowledge

Minimum 10/15 years overall experience in Finance functions (diversity is a plus) Working experience financial accounting & controlling Pharmaceutical sector experience is a plus

Team player, act as business partner, good communication skills Management skills Ability to work under pressure and deal with conflict Hands-on leader Strong analytical capability and interpersonal skills with ability to influence, appetite for business understanding

Key Technical Competencies Required

Accounting skills SAP proficiency, knowledge of any business intelligence tool is a plus (PowerBI, TM1) Advanced MS Office and particularly Excel skills Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus

Other

Manage the team (including 1 Accountant & 1 Controller) for the MEA Region, provide them with objectives and visibility
Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. business local teams including all functions, Finance Shared Service Center, Global Finance functions - FP&A, Tax, Tresaury... -, external accounting firm, legal advisors, banks, distributors, external auditors, tax administration, customs...)
