Role Summary:
Finance business partners are finance professionals who work closely with a particular business unit creating a real and active partnership with both operations and management. Their role is to provide \'real time\' support and analysis, to be a trusted adviser and to add value that will assist in decision making.
  • Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
  • Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies,
  • Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered.
  • Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
  • Closely working with the Distributors across Gulf & Iraq region

Responsibilities:
  • Develop trustworthy relationship with the Business to drive financial performance.
  • Finance business partners actively influence day to day decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business.
  • Interface as a \xe2\x80\x98translator\xe2\x80\x99 between finance and Sales.
  • Must be commercially aware, by understanding and anticipating the needs of finance, operations, and management.
  • Strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management, presentation and problem solving.
  • Interpret data, assess its value, and impact on business performance and present the findings to the relevant stakeholders to aid their understanding.
  • Evaluate business proposals with complete analysis of economic impact on business.
  • Provide objective financial advice and opinions that positively impact the future choices of the business.
  • Analyze financial information to produce business forecasts, taking into consideration conditions relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop and Manage Financial Strategic Planning and Budgeting models used during annual budget and future analysis of business growth plans.
  • Drive the preparation of annual budgeting and monthly forecasting (P&L, BS and Cashflow forecast)
  • Provide analytical support to various business initiatives and ad hoc projects.
  • Instigate and participate in all process improvement initiatives related to the Business Unit
  • Develop Monthly Management pack and provide meaningful insight into the business performance.
  • Work closely with the business to manage cash position, including debtor recovery.
  • Be a trusted business partner, safeguarding company\xe2\x80\x99s assets, margins, risks, and ethical business conduct.
  • Ensure the business activities are conducted as per the SOPs and comply the local regulations.
  • Involved in preparing the SOPs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of finance, accounting, or qualified accountant, either CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
