Senior Accountant/Finance Executive/ Finance Controller with a proven track record in the UAE's construction industry.

The successful candidate will handle financial activities, ensure compliance with local regulations, and provide actionable insights to support the company's financial health and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the finance department, overseeing accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, budget preparation, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations. External Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of a multitude of regulatory submissions, year-end process, audit and group consolidation. Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Handle Bank Accounts, LC, LG account and bank related all transactions, Provide proactive support to the Managing Director of Sales on finance, operations, and HR topics Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to ensure optimal financing solutions. Ensure that day-to-day operations, including order processing and logistics, run smoothly and efficiently, meeting global standards and customer expectations. Management of insurance claims including guiding and supporting the project companies with the management and negotiate best possible result in the event of an insurable incident. Post settlement of the claim ensure the fund collection happens in timely manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of UAE-based construction accounting experience.

Solid understanding of project cost accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar). In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and labor laws. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with ERP systems used in the construction sector. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent is a plus.
