Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage and execute our daily financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing complex accounting tasks, such as reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end/year-end close processes.

Preparing financial statements and reports (balance sheet, profit and loss, income statement, cash flow).

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of financial transactions and processes.

Ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial activities.

Working with incoming and outgoing invoices.

Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.

Collaborating with auditors and provide necessary documentation.

Interactions with banks, initiating bank transfers.

Maintaining the petty cash if needed by the company.

Maintaining payroll process, analyzing payroll data, checking accuracy of final payroll report.

Preparing calculation and documentation for terminations and resignations for the staff, end of service benefits etc.

Preparing pay slips.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Accountant (minimum 5 years preferred) with corporate groups in the UAE and other countries as well as in JAFZA.

Experience in Trade Business.

Strong knowledge and working experience with accounting standards and financial reporting.

Experience with project financing and financial instruments accounting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, MS Dynamix, Zoho books, or similar).

Advanced Excel skills and familiarity.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

CPA or other relevant certification.

Experience in trade, real estate, financing, joint venture accounting.

Fluency in international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).

Experience with accounting and financial reporting for DIFC foundations and companies, including Prescribed Companies and Active Enterprises.

Pay: AED15,000.00 per month
