Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Filling Line Supervisor at SCT Chemicals in Dubai. As a Filling Line Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the filling line, ensuring quality control, managing communication between teams, providing training for employees, and maintaining quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage filling line operations. Ensure daily production plans are executed efficiently and on time. Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and initiate corrective actions when performance drops. Lead, coach, and evaluate line staff, machine operators, and workers. Schedule shifts, manage manpower allocation, and resolve staffing issues Implement performance incentives and productivity tracking. Ensure adherence to product quality standards and packaging specifications Support QA/QC departments with line inspections, batch documentation, and non-conformance reporting. Enforce health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with local and international standards. Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance. Keep logs of line downtime and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Identify bottlenecks and lead process improvements to increase filling speeds and reduce wastage. Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement . Inventory & Materials Management: Ensure availability of packaging materials, labels, and caps as per schedule. Communicate with warehouse and supply chain for material planning and coordination. Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production, manpower, downtime, and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree/diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in production/filling operations, preferably in lubricants, food, beverage, or chemicals. Strong leadership and people management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (SAP), and production tracking tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and HSE standards. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
