Principal Semiconductor Engineer Position is specifically for a FPGA / ASIC Design or Verification (UVM) engineer. Design/Verify new Aerospace FPGA/ASIC products and makes improvements to existing products. will be responsible for requirements, architecture, coding, running simulations, synthesis, performing basic testing, and preparation of documentation. will lead project reviews and audits. Prefer a knowledge of VHDL and/or System Verilog, design tools for Xilinx and/or Microsemi, MBA, PCI, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, OS Linux, scripting languages Perl, Shell, and TCL. DO-254 experience is a plus. May oversee the work of other design engineers. Works with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that development is completed in a timely manner. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Good communication skills (verbal and written). Self-starter, motivated and takes initiative and able to work independently. Strong technical problem-solving skills.
