About the Company: We at JR Furniture (part of Joga Ram Group) have been catering to the various needs of clients in the UAE for fit out, Joinery, interior & architecture, and building materials trading since past two decades. Our joinery factory at Al Qouz Industrial area, Dubai is equipped with a full-fledged team of skilled carpenters to provide high quality state of the art products to all our clients. Our numerous successfully completed projects are ample proof of our capabilities in our field. Designation: Project Engineer - JR FURNITURE (Joinery Company) Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Experience: Minimum 5-6 years' work or more experience as Fit-out/joinery/QA/QC. Salary: 6,000 to 8,000 AED Job Purpose to join the Joinery Department in the completion and implementation of various projects in accordance with agreed parameters of quality standards, costs and timelines. Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below: The project engineer is responsible for planning projects. His / Her duties include establishing criteria that will ensure the success of required tasks by coordinating reviews from other engineers on site. A project engineer is also responsible for ensuring everything goes according to plan during the implementation time frame. Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular risk assessments.
• Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
• Reporting to Production Manager with correct site measurements as per production details and drawings given for site executions.
• Submitting Primavera reports of project progress to General Manager and clients.
• Coordinating with the team for shop drawing, material submittal & variation.
• Preparing minutes of site meetings to adhere to proper records for distribution to all parties concerned.
• Attending commencement both in house and with client for ensuring preparation of program to coincide with client's project program/schedule.

• Coordinating with the production team for submittal of material samples for approval according to specifications/ designs and ensure technical data sheets provided are submitted with SSA.
• Coordinating with the client's representative for request of information and site concerns for smooth flow of work which includes submittal of Method Statements and Risk

Assessment Statement.

• Coordinating with the Production Team and Estimation Department regarding site design updates and variations so as incorporate it in the production.
• Ensuring that all manpower is properly designated and placed (including the

Contractors) in order to achieve maximum efficiency.

• Report to the Managing Director (daily) on all site situations and concerns for proper

Technical and Commercial decisions.

• MIR, IR need to submit if required.
• Ensuring maintenance of Complete Health and Safety at all times for all workers and take corrective measures when necessary.
• Coordinating with site personnel for items required to be borrowed from the client for reference and documentation.
• Ensuring proper coordination with other site traits.
• Ensuring optimum use of material and labor.
• Documenting all snagging works and its de-snagging to meet the standards and design of the clients.
• Coordinating with Draftsmen for As-built drawing submission including the work certification and warrantees.
• Communicating with the clients/ representatives for any additional work and variations

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a project engineer Minimum 5-6 years'
• Experienced in Decor, Interior Design, Fit out and Joinery
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Project Management and supervision skills
• Decision making ability and leadership skills
