Summary: The Field Mechanical Service Technician in Pollution Control Systems is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of pollution control equipment to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The Technician will also provide technical advice and customer service to clients and support the company's quality assurance program. Primary responsibilities . Install, Repair, And Maintain Air Filters in Pollution Control Systems. Systems . Inspection And Testing of Filters to Ensure Their Proper Functioning And Safety. . Follow Safety Protocols, Environmental Regulations, And Quality Control Standards When Servicing Equipment. . Troubleshoot And Diagnose Mechanical and Electrical Problems. . Modify And Update Existing Systems to Improve Efficiency. . Diagnose Mechanical, Electrical, And Electronic Problems Associated with Pollution Control Systems. . Prepare Written Reports on Maintenance Activities and System Performance. . Adhere To Safety Regulations and Industry Standards. . Train And Assist Other Technicians In Operating The Equipment. . Understand And Follow Customer Instructions and Requirements. . Provide, Understand, And Follow Advice, Recommendations, And Solutions to Clients in Relation to Their Pollution Control Systems. . Coordinate With Other Staff to Ensure Successful Completion of Projects. . Assist Clients in Operating and Maintaining Equipment. . Schedule Maintenance Activities and Order Necessary Spare Parts and Supplies. . Conduct Regular Inspections of Equipment And Identify And Address Malfunctions. . Follow Safety Protocols While Performing Job Duties. . Maintain Accurate and Up-To-Date Records of Maintenance and Repair Activities. . Participate In The Development And Implementation Of New And Existing Pollution Control Systems. Qualifications and Skills: . High School Diploma Or Equivalent . Technical School Training In Mechanical Or Electrical Systems Or Equivalent Experience . Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Schematics . Knowledge Of Safety And Environmental Regulations . Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects . Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills . Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively In A Team-Oriented Environment . Blacksmithing Skill . Proficiency In The Use Of Computer Software Programs Such As Microsoft Office, Autocad, Etc.
