Job Summary The candidate should have the ability to install and maintain different types of firefighting control systems, such as Automatic sprinkler systems, Fire Alarm control panels, Beam detector control panels, Fire Alarm devices, Smoke detectors, Beam detectors, Fire hose reel/rack systems, Fire pumps, Clean agent fire suppression systems, wet chemical fire suppression systems and any other systems related achieving the required/assigned targets of the work within the designated area of operations with minimum downtime meeting complete satisfaction of internal Clients & end users.
Looking for a Technician, Fire Fighting Control Systems Job Responsibilities
1. Facility Maintenance \xe2\x80\x93 Fire Fighting Control Systems

• Plan and execute all preventive and incidental maintenance activities of Fire Alarm Control systems such as Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm control panels, Fire Alarm devices, Sprinklers, Smoke detectors, Beam detectors, Beam detector control panels
• Inspection & Maintenance of all the FM200 automatic fire extinguisher systems, controllers, Fire Systems, and controllers as per FM Global standards
  

2. Maintenance Organization

• Fire Systems
  • Ensure the planning and execution of all preventive and incidental maintenance activities of the respective systems across the Emerson Dubai Campus
  • Manage effectiveness & utilization of Fire Systems contractor personnel
  • Assist in investigations of incidents and modification of errors
  • Oversee specific activities such as building offices, repairing, works, and all types of construction in warehouses
    

3. Maintenance Administration

• Contractor Management
  • Assess Emerson Dubai campus Fires systems to plan work and schedules
  • Develop Fire systems maintenance procedures and schedules
• Consumables Management
  • Track consumables across FM organization (Fire System Services)
  • Ensure timely restocking, and minimum stocking quantities to prevent equipment downtime
• Preventive Maintenance Planning & Execution
  • Maintain historical data about Fire Fighting systems Asset health and maintenance
  • Create and execute a prioritized Maintenance schedule based on asset requirements
• 3rd Party Certification
  • Support technical requirements for certifications such as FM Global, ISO Audit 4. Emergency Response
  • Support to establish an emergency plan & coordinate preventative fire drills
    

Basic Qualifications

• The job holder shall have basic numeracy and literacy following secondary school education and be fluent in English as the lectures and operational commands are given in English.
• The job holder should be able to retain technical knowledge, understanding, and skill and be able to consistently demonstrate the competencies gained with a minimum of 5years of experience
  

Preferred Qualifications A diploma in Fire Fighting or any equivalent certification will add value.
