Responsibilities:
Cut and prepare fiberglass materials.
Apply layers evenly to molds.
Impregnate materials with resin.
Smooth and shape using tools.
Inspect for defects.
Demold finished products.
Maintain tools and equipment.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a fiberglass laminator or in a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of composite materials, resin systems, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to the lamination process.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of manual dexterity.
Physical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of chemicals.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment.
