The FF&E Interior Designer is responsible for the selection, sourcing, and documentation of furniture, fixtures, and equipment for interior design projects. The role involves close collaboration with project teams to deliver cohesive, functional, and innovative design solutions for high?end residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to develop FF&E concepts aligned with the overall design vision.
Source and specify furniture, lighting, fabrics, finishes, and accessories.
Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, and budgets.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure quality control and timely delivery.
Create presentation boards and materials for client meetings, showcasing FF&E selections.
Assist in preparing tender documents and supporting procurement processes.
Conduct site visits to oversee FF&E installation and ensure adherence to design intent.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and innovations in FF&E design.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in FF&E design, preferably within high?end residential or hospitality projects.
Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture design, and FF&E standards.
Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in design and documentation software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
