Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

CAD Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings, layouts, and shop drawings to support project development and execution. The role requires both technical expertise and a creative eye for design interpretation, with a clear understanding of project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

CAD drawings

, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models based on project specifications. Convert

conceptual sketches

, design briefs, and ideas into professional technical drawings. Create

shop drawings

and

as-built drawings

for manufacturing and construction teams. Collaborate with designers, project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of drawings. Maintain drawing standards, file naming conventions, and revision tracking in accordance with company procedures. Update and revise drawings based on feedback, site measurements, and client approvals. Coordinate with site teams to resolve drawing conflicts or discrepancies during execution. Ensure timely submission of drawing packages and documentation in line with project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field. Minimum

2-5 years of experience

in CAD drafting/design, preferably in the [fit-out / construction / joinery] industry. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

is a must; experience with

SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, SolidWorks

, or other CAD tools is a plus. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with

materials, finishes, and construction methods

. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
