Job Description

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct design presentations in communicating with clients as per the client's standards/requirements
• Develop and execute the FF&E direction for overall project and communicate to the project team
• Maintain communication on project status to senior interior designer / Managing Director on a regular basis and, including the operations director and project team.
• Attend site meetings and assist in the process of reviewing the project
• Design and source FF&E from concept through to finished details.
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers for timely delivery of FF&E and ensure it's on budget.
• Liaise with design and procurement to align FF&E with client's expectations and budget.
• Build relationships with suppliers and business partners in the industry.
• Oversee the installation of FF&E alongside contractors.
• Participate in the establishment and maintenance of FF&E design standards for the company
• Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
• Assisting with relevant social media and marketing tasks

Candidate Profile:

• Design talent
• Ability to establish logical action plans to complete work and provide technically sound solutions within deadline and budget constraints
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign and/or equal program for the production of drawings, mood boards and presentation material
• Presentation skills
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment
• Exceptional customer-focus with an emphasis on quality
• Strong ability to resolve issues utilizing sound judgement and reasoning skills
• Professional, ethical and committed to excellence in communications
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other co-workers, departments, suppliers or business units
