Position Overview:
The Indoor Sales Representative with a design background will play a key role in guiding customers through the selection process, providing design advice, and ensuring an excellent client experience. This role combines sales expertise with a strong sense of design to help customers choose tile solutions that best suit their projects.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist walk-in customers, architects, designers, and contractors.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable tile options.
Provide design consultations, including color, pattern, and layout suggestions.
Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and follow up with clients.
Maintain an up-to-date showroom that reflects brand aesthetics.
Collaborate with the design and production team to ensure accurate product information.
Keep records of client interactions and sales.
Support marketing and promotional activities as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or showroom retail.
Background in interior design, architecture, or related field.
Strong sense of aesthetics, color coordination, and design trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
