Job Description

Position Overview: We are hiring a Female Purchase Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies, tracking metrics to reduce expenses, negotiating deals, and managing vendors. They ensure clear requirements, forecast market trends, mitigate risks, and collaborate with stakeholders. Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are required. Key Responsibilities: 1. Order placing based on various reports by analyzing stock movement based on suggestions from sales persons/branches and based on feed-back from customers 2. Negotiating by comparing prices from all available sources considering metal price & market demand 3. Order confirming after considering price, quality, production capacity and reliability of the suppliers, transit time and payment terms 4. Prepare PPO and new codes for new items 5. Send barcode data and Verify barcode (check proof) 6. Follow-up samples, Keep the list of samples required, arrange in the rack once arrived and verified 7. Follow-up orders, Keep the list of pending orders with date commitments Sending reminders and follow-up 8. Arrange inspection and prepare inspection parameters Arrange and send samples to agent, follow-up inspection report 9. Arrange shipment (arrange forwarder), tally documents, follow-up if any discrepancy in the documents, prepare GIT, Send shipment notification follow-up shipment check the shipment status every day, verify the local charges, update the \xe2\x80\x98shipment on the way\xe2\x80\x99 file 10. Prepare off-load schedule, send packing lists to logistics in advance, co-ordinate payment, prepare payment plan according to the vessel arrival update the off-load and payment plan file everyday 11. Pass customs, maintain the customs deposit balance, arrange check deposits for customs account & DPA account 12. Co-ordinate off-loading, arrange transporter for containers, DPA payments & Holier nomination 13. Arrange pick-up for LCLs, prepare gate pass, off-load materials tally materials with packing list, notify discrepancies to purchase Dept. 14. Prepare GRN (accounts), verify the new arrivals, follow-up the discrepancies if any with the suppliers submit original documents to customs within 14 days update & scan the file of documents . Candidates who are currently in Dubai and available to join immediately should only apply. Candidates on visit visa/ sponsor visa are welcome. Education Qualification & skills required: Bachelor\'s degree in any field or Diploma in Logistics & supply chain is must Excellent communication and negotiation skills are must. Should be well versed with MS Office & Excel. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heading the purchase department in a trading company with more focus on import purchase and a good team leader. Salary- Upto 8,000 (Including PLI\'s) with employment visa & Medical Insurance Annual paid leaves of 30 days and travel tickets every two years.
