Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety legislation.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
Deliver safety training and awareness sessions to staff.
Maintain up-to-date records of safety inspections and compliance documentation.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure prompt action on safety-related issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
NEBOSH/IOSH certification or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a health and safety role (construction, manufacturing, or similar industry preferred).
Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to risk management.
