We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented

Health and Safety Officer

to join our dynamic team at our Jebel Ali Free Zone facility.

This role is essential in maintaining a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment, supporting our commitment to operational excellence and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

? Implement and monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
? Conduct regular safety inspections across production, warehouse, and office areas.
? Deliver safety inductions and training for all new employees and contractors.
? Oversee proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure availability.
? Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating risk assessments and method statements.
? Maintain incident, accident, and near-miss reporting, and assist in investigations.
? Organize emergency response drills, including fire evacuation and first aid simulations.
? Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety culture.
? Communicate safety issues, observations, and improvements clearly to management and staff.
? Collaborate with the Quality and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, OSHA) is highly preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in a health and safety role (preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environments).

Working knowledge of UAE labor and safety regulations.
Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and ability to act proactively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and support a team environment.
