Health and Safety Officer (HSA)We are looking for a
Health and Safety Officer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting workplaces, ensuring safety standards are met, and helping businesses comply with health and safety regulations.Responsibilities:
Inspect Workplaces:
Visit companies to check if they follow safety rules and regulations.Issue Warnings:
If safety standards are not met, issue notices and ensure necessary actions are taken.Advise Employers:
Help businesses improve their safety practices and create better risk assessments.Investigate Accidents:
Look into workplace accidents and determine their causes.Educate and Train:
Teach employers and employees about safety best practices and regulations.Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
A degree in health and safety, environmental science, or a related field.Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a similar safety role.Knowledge:
Understanding of health and safety regulations.Communication:
Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and advising.Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify risks and find solutions.Pay:
Negotiable based on experienceHealth and Safety Inspections: 3-5 years (Required)
