The iconic Queen Elizabeth II (QE2) is a historic gem and the only floating hotel in Dubai. The hotel features 447 distinctive rooms. A one-of-a-kind entertainment destination, rich in history where the past is relived in the luxury of today. Guest experience is a true British heritage and history with a visit to one of the world's most celebrated ocean liners, now permanently docked in the new marina at Dubai's Port Rashid in the UAE.

  • Present a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service and high standards.
  • Greet guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitor a waiting list, enter names into the computer system, and show guests to their table and bid them farewell as they leave.
  • Inform guest about current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff.
  • Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
  • Issue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bill for to-go orders and to receive payments by validating credit charges; approving checks; accepting currency.
  • Handling guest reservation details from the reservation system, table allocation, dietary requirements, billing.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Micros
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • At least 1 year experience working on a similar role.
  • Hospitality background is preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
