Job Description
As a Farmer at IIQAF, you will play an essential role in our mission to promote sustainable agriculture and support local farmers. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our farm, overseeing daily operations, and implementing sustainable growing practices to ensure high-quality and healthy produce. This is a hands-on and physically demanding position that requires a deep understanding of farming techniques and a passion for sustainable agriculture.

- Monitor and maintain soil health and implement sustainable farming techniques
- Hire, train, and lead a team of farm workers to assist with daily operations
- Develop and implement crop rotation plans and manage pest and disease control
- Maintain accurate records and reports on crop yields, expenses, and assets
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members to ensure the success of the farm
- Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate farming techniques to increase crop yield and quality
- Participate in community events and represent IIQAF positively to the public
- Minimum of years of experience in farming, preferably in sustainable agriculture
- Strong knowledge of sustainable farming practices and techniques
- Experience in operating and maintaining farm equipment and machinery
- Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A passion for promoting sustainable agriculture and supporting local farmers
