Farm Supervisor Employment Type: Full time Description: We are looking for a Farm Supervisor with Agricultural Engineer skills. You will be responsible the process of overseeing and supervising farm operations such as: crop cultivation, fruit and vegetable production and other agricultural enterprises. The Farm Supervisor is responsible for supervising farm hands, therefore leadership skills are required. The goal is to contribute to sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success. Responsibilities: Recruit, train and supervise farm workers \xe2\x80\x93 coordinate and direct their activities;
Supervise a wide range of farm operations including cultivation, sowing, spraying and harvesting;
Ensure deadlines are met for activities such as seeding and harvesting;
Confer with managers to coordinate activities with other farm units;
Monitor staff rosters, hours, performance and resolve any grievances;
Organize transportation for crops;
Oversee the work of farming units and suggest improvements and changes;
Inspect farm buildings and equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when necessary;
Installation, maintenance and regular monitoring of irrigation system;
Ensure and enforce compliance with government regulations and health and safety standards.
