Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for supervising and coordinating the operations, maintenance, and safety protocols of tank farms, including storage tanks, loading/unloading systems, and associated equipment.

TASKS:

• Developing and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, inspection plans, and reliability programs to maximize the performance and longevity of tank farm systems;
• Conducting regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of tank farm systems to identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and minimize downtime;
• Monitoring the performance of tank farm equipment, analyze data, and implementing predictive maintenance practices to optimize operations and reduce costs;
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards, fostering a safe work environment for the team and project personnel;
• Coordinating with procurement to guarantee the availability of essential tank farm components, spare parts, tools, and materials;
• Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to oversee tank farm servicing, repairs, and upgrades;
• Providing leadership and direction to a team of tank farm operators and maintenance technicians, offering guidance, training, and performance assessments to ensure the team\xe2\x80\x99s efficiency and effectiveness;
• Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers to develop tank farm operation plans, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures;
• Actively participating in root cause analysis and failure investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent future tank farm system failures;
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including tank farm operation manuals, maintenance records, and safety procedures;
• Contributing to the development of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives related to tank farm operations and maintenance processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering;
• 10+ years of experience during Commissioning phase of Polyethylene projects.

OTHER DETAILS:

• Job Location: Ruwais, UAE;
• Contract Duration: 1 year;
• Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
• Starting date: December 2023.
