Strategize crop planning as per the market demand fluctuations.

Develop crop schedules to ensure crop availability as per the demand forecast.

Ensure all steps of farming from seeding to harvesting are controlled and foresee any gaps.

Coordinate with the Sales and marketing team to understand the market requirement and plan farm production.

Conduct farm surveys to evaluate compliance with company & government standards.

Ensure each stage of farming is effectively managed without any shrinkage.

Instruct farm workers on correct usage of insecticides, fertilizers and other chemicals to ensure healthy crop production. Establish reliable IPM systems.

Observe and check the quality of the crops and make changes to the atmospheric conditions as required.

Developing food, health & safety policies & procedures in coordination with the HR team and ensuring the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to food safety, health and hygiene at workplace.

Ensure that all the farm workers have valid Occupational health certificates to avoid municipal penalties.

Ensure that the farm activities are in accordance with the ISO and HACCP compliances.

Coordinate with the HVAC and MEP maintenance teams on a regular basis for issues regarding AC, electricity and plumbing to ensure smooth round-the-clock operations.

Ensure all Grow systems, environment sensors and instruments operate well.

Ensure and oversee effective hygiene practices in the farm and warehouse.

Ensure that the farm has restricted entry and access is provided to authorized personnel.

Ensure that all security breaches are escalated and addressed promptly.

Track and control the inventory stock of raw materials required for farming.

Ensure the adequate stocks are available to meet the customer demands and fluctuations.

Coordinate with the procurement team to keep the stock and inventory replenished.

Record and manage inventory on Data management tools & ERP systems.

Coordinate with the Sales team regarding any customer complaints.

Investigate the grounds of complaint and prepare the report to be shared with the stakeholders.

Ensure a resolution is provided and lapses do not recur.

Ensure all control systems are working well to avoid any squandering.

Plan and propose initiatives for recycling water, raw materials and other resources.

Ensure proper disposal of farm, water and solid waste in accordance with municipal guidelines.

Keep abreast of the new market trends and technologies in the agricultural field. Propose and adopt the new developments and advancements for better yield and quality of the crop.

Serving as a point of contact for farm workers for their attendance, leave and other issues in coordination with the HR.

Train and enhance the Farm workers' skills to improve farming solutions as well as their personal growth.

Manage staffing, weekly scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.

Maintaining and updating various trackers (sick leave, annual leave & Compensatory leave tracker etc.)

Preparing MIS reports for management review.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in agriculture or Agricultural Engineering. Must be MOCCAE certified agricultural engineer.

At least 5-6 years of experience in farm management.

Familiarity with modern farm management systems, technologies, and farm equipment maintenance

Excellent communication skills in English.

Extensive IT proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
