Farm Deputy Manager
Job Description
Overview
Oversee day-to-day farm operations and ensure smooth workflow across all activities.
Manage farm facilities and stables, maintaining high hygiene standards to reduce the risk of animal diseases.
Supervise and control livestock feeding programs to ensure proper nutrition.
Review existing work procedures and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Recommend and support new technology-based projects that can improve farm performance and results.
Monitor staff performance and carry out regular evaluations to ensure work standards are met.
Job Requirements
Degree from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food (Animal-related field).
A degree in Veterinary Medicine will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in livestock farming.
Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role is a plus.
Good knowledge of English; additional foreign language skills will be an advantage.
