Job Description

Element has an opportunity for a Failure Analyst who will be primarily responsible for the failure analysis inspections, operations, reporting and consultation services.

This role will be based in Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities

Adept on various failure analysis testing aspects, including Damage mechanism and Fracture / Damage / Fatigue mechanics Conduct and report on failure analysis Presentation of technical work in different platforms in a confident manner Exhibit pragmatic and innovativeness with respect towards conducting of investigation and providing solutions for the client Review technical documents and to construct a suitable scope of work Estimate the work effort required and to help in the commercial breakdown of the work Supervise routine metallographic examinations and review / compose standard reporting comments Skills / Qualifications

A recognized qualification in Metallurgy along with 3 years of relevant experience Experience in conducting and reporting on root cause failure analysis Experience in working with SEM / EDS (Scanning Electron Microscopy / Energy Dispersive analysis) Experience working in an ISI 17025 laboratory environment Strong communication / presentation skills The ability to assess and respond to client requirements in an appropriate manner Ability to operate and function within a team, drawing on other expertise where required Flexibility and adaptability to different workloads and roles within the company #LI-SR1 Company Overview
