Element has an opportunity for an Asbestos Analyst to join our rapidly expanding environmental testing team in UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for performing asbestos surveys at clients' sites

While based in Dubai, this role requires travel across the project sites in UAE

Responsibilities

Perform asbestos surveys at client' sites Perform routine bulk analysis of asbesto samples Assist in production of bulk analysis certificates, ensuring high standards of quality at all times Self manage the QC checks, sampling quantity all the while ensuring compliance with the documented in house procedures and maintain the HSE standards at all levels of operation Provide customer service and ensure customer satisfation Skills / Qualifications

Graduate / equivalent in science stream along with 2- 4 year experience in Asbestos bulk analysis, using techniques of polarised light microscopy and experienced in airsampling and fibre counting using phase contract microscopy An internationally recognised certificate in asbestos analysis and / or occupational hygiene (P401 certification or equivalent) Good IT skills to work on the relevant environmental softwares and documentation along with excellent english speaking skills Flexibility to work in varied shifts under arid desert conditions and able to lift 50+lbs periodically and able to stand on feet for long periods of time #LI-SR1 Company Overview
