Role Responsibilities include: . Ensures that the facilities are maintained and repaired in a cost-effective manner, with consideration given to quality and customer service. . Prepares work orders and scope of works for repairs, gets estimates for the cost of the work, and assigns work to appropriate staff / vendors. . Conducts regular inspections of buildings, parking lots and warehouses. . Supervises any sub-contractors that are working on specific projects, related to repair. . Ensures appropriate records for maintenance are maintained. . Monitors and controls the supply of materials. . Follows company management policies and procedures in the application of managing subordinates. . Provides complete and accurate reports to management, as needed. . Performs any other related activities, as requested. Experience and Qualification: . Minimum 5 years of experience as a Facility Manager . BSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field. Skills: . Must be able to demonstrate leadership and influencing skills. . Must be able to exercise good judgment in order to set priorities. . Requires excellent supervisory skills, including planning, organizing, and directing work. . Must be customer service oriented, sensitive to the needs of the departments and others. . Requires intermediate verbal and written communications skills in English, in addition to effective interpersonal skills. Fluency in Arabic highly desirable. . Requires exceptional time management, due to fast-moving, demanding work environment. . Requires Bahraini driver's license, with good driving record.
