Job Description

Scope: To oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency can set you apart among our candidate pool. The goal is to ensure business\xe2\x80\x99s accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions. Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the basic facilities are well maintained and conducting proactive maintenance.
  • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
  • Inspect buildings\xe2\x80\x99 structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
  • Supervise all facility staffs (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors.
  • Manage and review service contracts and insurance plans.
  • Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
  • Keep financial and non-financial records.
  • Perform analysis and forecasting.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.
  • Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings or re-organizing of current premises.
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in engineering (Electrical /Mechanical).
  • Holding Engineering Certification (MMUP / UPDA)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in similar position.
  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager in FM industry.
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English & Arabic.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to QAR20,000.00 per month
