We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our commercial cleaning services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining efficient workflow across the facility. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in janitorial services or commercial cleaning to lead a team and contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organised environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring timely completion of all duties Conduct regular inspections of the premises to monitor cleanliness and safety compliance Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff on cleaning procedures, health & safety protocols, and customer service standards Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary Address any operational issues promptly, escalating concerns to management when required Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and company policies at all times Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and leadership

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and standards Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a facilities management or cleaning environment is preferred Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong communication skills, capable of motivating and guiding team members Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to commercial cleaning operations Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively Valid UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
