Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our facility's systems, including electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical components. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot various systems to maintain optimal performance.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of facility systems, including electrical, HVAC/R, and mechanical equipment. Analyze schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts and identify areas for improvement or repair. Perform field service tasks, including troubleshooting low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Utilize ammeters and other diagnostic tools to monitor system performance and ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other engineering staff to develop maintenance schedules and protocols for facility operations. Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed on equipment to maintain accurate records. Assist in the development of energy-efficient practices within the facility to reduce operational costs.

Skills

Proficiency in industrial mechanics with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Experience with both low voltage and high voltage electrical systems is essential. Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. Familiarity with field service operations related to facility maintenance. Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members across various departments.
