Job Description
Facilities Engineer
Responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation of building systems and infrastructure. Oversees maintenance, coordinates with contractors, and supports energy efficiency and facility improvements.
Key Duties
Manage preventive and corrective maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, civil). Monitor system performance and energy use. Coordinate repairs, installations, and inspections. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Handle renovations and fit-out projects. Maintain records and support sustainability efforts. Respond to emergencies and breakdowns.
Requirements
Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Facilities). 3-7 years' experience in facilities or maintenance. Strong knowledge of building systems and BMS. Proficient in CAFM/CMMS tools. Familiar with UAE regulations (DEWA, Civil Defense, Municipality). Strong leadership and communication skills. UAE driving license required.
