Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate aluminum cost estimates.
Perform material take-offs, labor calculations, and pricing of aluminum systems, including windows, doors, curtain walls, panels, and related assemblies.
Source pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
Prepare detailed bid proposals and present cost breakdowns to project managers and clients.
Collaborate with the design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
Track and analyze historical cost data to support more accurate future estimates.
Maintain knowledge of market trends, aluminum material costs, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an estimator in aluminum fabrication, glazing, or construction industry (3+ years preferred).
Strong knowledge of aluminum materials, systems, and manufacturing processes.
