Supervise and manage daily steel structure erection activities on site.
Read and interpret structural drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection plans.
Ensure all work is executed according to approved shop drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate with Site Engineer, Project Engineer, and Quality team for inspection requests (IR/MIR).
Monitor installation of columns, beams, trusses, handrails, platforms, purlins, mezzanines, and other steel components.
Ensure correct alignment, leveling, bolting, and welding sequence.
Team & Workforce Management
Lead and supervise steel fitters, riggers, welders, fabricators, and crane operators.
Allocate manpower efficiently and monitor productivity.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workforce adherence to safety measures.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict compliance with company HSE standards and Saudi safety regulations.
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions immediately.
Verify scaffolding, lifting equipment, and tools before use.
Material & Equipment Handling
Coordinate material delivery, unloading, staging, and storage on site.
Ensure proper use of cranes, lifting gears, and heavy equipment during erection.
Monitor availability of bolts, plates, and erection consumables.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare daily progress reports and submit to Site Engineer/Project Manager.
Assist in preparing work permits and lifting plans.
Report delays, manpower issues, and site challenges proactively.
