Position Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and technically skilled
Facade Designer
to join our design team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in architectural facade design, a sharp eye for detail, and experience delivering innovative, sustainable, and visually striking facade solutions for a variety of building types.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development
Create innovative facade design concepts that balance functionality, aesthetics, and cost efficiency.
3D Modeling & Visualization
Develop detailed 3D models, elevations, and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar tools.
Material Selection
Research and specify materials/finishes based on performance, sustainability, and durability.
Technical Documentation
Prepare precise drawings, specifications, and construction documents for fabrication and execution.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and compliance.
Site Coordination
Conduct site visits to ensure facade installation aligns with design intent and quality standards.
Problem-Solving & Innovation
Address complex design and technical challenges with creative, practical, and aesthetically aligned solutions.
Client Engagement
Present design concepts, integrate client feedback, and guide designs through to final approval.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in facade design or architectural detailing.
Technical Proficiency
Strong command of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, or parametric tools is an advantage.
Knowledge Base
Solid understanding of facade systems, building materials, and construction techniques.
Familiarity with sustainability practices, thermal performance, and green building standards.
Soft Skills
Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to design.
Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
