Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Facade Designer

to join our growing team. The successful candidate will begin their role in the

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

and will be relocated to

Qatar

after completing the training and familiarization period. This role involves designing, detailing, and coordinating aluminum and glass facade systems for various residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop facade system designs based on architectural concepts and project requirements. Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and other design software. Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, and internal teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Propose innovative and cost-effective facade solutions considering thermal performance, structural integrity, aesthetics, and constructability. Interpret architectural and structural drawings to prepare facade design layouts. Support in material selection, testing coordination, and mock-up evaluations. Ensure adherence to international facade standards, local building codes, and safety regulations. Assist project teams during installation and site coordination if required.

Requirements:

Education

: Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience

: 3-5 years of experience in facade design, preferably in aluminum and glass systems.

Software Proficiency

: Strong skills in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Rhino, and other 3D modeling tools is a plus. Strong knowledge of structural principles, cladding systems, and curtain wall technologies. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Willingness to relocate from UAE to Qatar after initial training period.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous work experience in the GCC region. Knowledge of Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) is a plus. Familiarity with facade system suppliers and materials used in the region.
