Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient
Facade Designer
to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural facade design, a keen eye for detail, and hands-on experience in creating functional, sustainable, and visually impactful facades for a wide range of building types.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Develop innovative facade design concepts that meet project requirements, budget constraints, and aesthetic goals.
3D Modeling & Visualization:
Produce detailed 3D models, elevations, and visual renderings using
AutoCAD
,
Revit
,
SketchUp
,
Rhino
, or similar tools.
Material Selection:
Research and specify appropriate materials and finishes based on performance, sustainability, durability, and project context.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents for fabrication and on-site execution.
Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration:
Coordinate with
architects
,
structural engineers
,
MEP consultants
, and
project managers
to ensure design feasibility, compliance, and seamless integration.
Site Coordination:
Conduct site visits and inspections to verify that installations align with design intent and maintain the highest quality standards.
Creative Problem-Solving:
Tackle complex design and technical challenges with innovative, practical, and aesthetically aligned solutions.
Client Engagement:
Present facade design concepts to clients, incorporate feedback, and guide design iterations through to final approval.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Architecture
,
Design
, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Minimum of
5 years
of relevant experience in facade design or architectural detailing.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong skills in
AutoCAD
,
Revit
,
SketchUp
, and
Adobe Creative Suite
.
Experience with
Rhino
,
Grasshopper
, or parametric tools is a plus.
Knowledge Base:
In-depth understanding of facade systems, building materials, and construction techniques.
Familiarity with
green building standards
,
thermal performance
, and
sustainability practices
.
Soft Skills:
Strong visual, verbal, and written communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with a methodical approach to design development.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
