Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled

Facade Designer

with strong experience in aluminum and glazing systems to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed facade designs, preparing shop drawings, coordinating with consultants/clients, and ensuring full compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed facade design concepts and technical drawings for aluminum, curtain wall, cladding, skylights, doors, windows, and other facade systems. Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details using AutoCAD / Revit / BIM tools. Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams to finalize design requirements. Conduct structural and thermal analysis for facade systems with support from engineering teams. Review tender documents, BOQs, project specifications, and ensure design compatibility. Provide technical support during fabrication, procurement, and site installation stages. Resolve design-related issues and propose practical technical solutions. Ensure all designs comply with international standards (ASTM, BS, EN) and local Saudi building codes. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of drawings and revisions.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum

3-7 years of experience

in facade design within aluminum/glazing/metal facade companies. Strong command of

AutoCAD

, Revit/BIM (preferred), and MS Office. Knowledge of popular aluminum systems: Schuco, Technal, Reynaers, etc. Strong understanding of material properties, fabrication processes, and installation methods. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in KSA projects and Saudi Building Code (SBC). Understanding of advanced facade systems such as unitized curtain walls, structural glazing, spider systems, and architectural cladding. Ability to review structural calculations and thermal performance reports.
