Job Summary:
We are a fast-growing FMCG company operating in the
Personal Care and Electronics sectors
. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Export Sales Manager to lead and expand our
international sales operations.
The position requires frequent international travel to strengthen market presence, negotiate strategic partnerships, and ensure
sustainable export revenue growth
while maintaining compliance with
international trade regulations
.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in
export sales,
client acquisition and FMCG distribution
and will be responsible for managing the complete export sales cycle-- from market development and client onboarding to order execution, logistics coordination, and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute export sales strategies to expand FMCG product sales in African and other international markets
Identify, acquire and manage
distributors, wholesalers and key accounts
across different countries,
Grow export sales volumes for Company owned products.
Handle the complete export sales cycle including:
o Client inquiries and negotiations
o Pricing, quotations and order confirmations
o Coordination with production, logistics, and documentation teams
o Shipment follow-up and delivery
o After-sales support and relationship management
o Attending and managing international exhibition and generating leads
Conduct regular international travel for
market visits, client meetings and business development
Analyze market trends, competitor activity and customer needs
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates for management
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Export Sales.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Client Acquisition / Business Development.
Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG industry, preferably in:
o Beauty Care / Personal Care
o Health Care products
o Consumer Electronics
Proven skills handling African markets.
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship management skills
Knowledge of export documentation, logistics and international trade practices
Ability to work independently and deliver results under pressure
