Export Sales Manager (Food & FMCG)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Export Sales Manager to drive our international sales growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing new markets, building strong distributor relationships, and managing the end-to-end export process within the Food or FMCG sectors. You will be the key player in expanding our global presence and achieving our ambitious export targets.
Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must-Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in export sales, specifically within the Food, Beverage, or FMCG industry.
  • Demonstrable experience and existing network in [Specify Region, e.g., Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, or North America] markets.
  • Strong knowledge of export documentation (e.g., Certificates of Origin, Bill of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificates), letters of credit, and international trade compliance regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of international logistics, shipping, and Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, EXW).
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent Negotiation & Communication: Superior ability to negotiate contracts and build lasting relationships with international clients and distributors.
  • Business Development: A hunter mentality with a proven ability to identify, onboard, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze global market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform strategy.
  • Results-Oriented: A strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Skilled at coordinating with internal teams such as supply chain, marketing, and finance.
  • Self-Motivated: Able to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Development: Develop and execute strategic plans to enter and grow our presence in existing and new international markets.
  • Client & Distributor Management: Identify, prospect, negotiate with, and onboard new export clients, distributors, and partners. Manage and grow existing relationships.
  • Sales Process Management: Own the end-to-end export sales process, from initial inquiry and quotation to order fulfillment and after-sales support.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all export shipments are accompanied by accurate and compliant documentation, adhering to both company policy and international trade laws.
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously analyze global market trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Internal Coordination: Act as the key liaison between international clients and internal departments (Logistics, Finance, Quality Assurance, R&D) to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Target Achievement: Be directly responsible for achieving and exceeding agreed-upon export sales targets and profitability metrics.
