Manager Automation (Coating/Paining Industry)

A medium sized specialist coating company (Soon Diversifying for fully automated coating system) based in the Middle East requires Technical Manager for managing and supervising the coating of High Voltage Insulators with Silicone Coating.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Design & Development:

Lead the design and engineering of specialized coating machines, ensuring robust, cost-effective, and high-performance systems.

Fabrication & Assembly:

Oversee the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of mechanical and automated systems used in coating applications.

Automation & Control Systems:

Integrate advanced automation technologies (PLC, SCADA, Robotics) to improve machine efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Project Management:

Plan and execute machine design and fabrication projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.

Process Optimization:

Continuously improve existing coating processes by implementing new technologies and best practices.

Technical Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues in coating equipment.

Collaboration & Team Leadership:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and quality assurance to enhance machine performance.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors for procurement of raw materials and automation components.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines in machine fabrication and operations.

Training & Development:

Train and mentor technical teams on best practices in design, automation, and equipment maintenance.

Key Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

Minimum

[5-6] years

in machine design, fabrication, and automation, preferably in the

coating or machine manufacturing industry

.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) for machine design. Knowledge of material selection, welding, machining, and fabrication processes. Experience with

PLC programming, SCADA, and industrial automation

. Understanding of fluid mechanics, thermal processes, and coating technologies.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
