Quality Engineer/Inspector to oversee coating, painting, and welding processes
for the steel fabrication company. This role requires a strong understanding of quality control procedures and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
The candidates should be available in UAE.
Responsibilities;
Inspecting and verifying the quality of coating, painting, and welding processes to ensure compliance with company standards and relevant industry codes.
Following quality control procedures for coating, painting, and welding operations.
Maintaining detailed inspection records and reports.
Identifying and resolving quality issues.
Maintaining familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.
Working with production teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
Assisting with the development and implementation of corrective actions for identified nonconformities.
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Welding Engineering preferred)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar quality control role within a steel fabrication environment.
NACE Level 2 certification (preferred) or BGAS Level 2 and AWS CWI (preferred) or CSWIP 3.1 certification.
Strong understanding of relevant welding codes and standards
Proficient in using inspection and testing equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
